Shopitnow is a lean brokerage platform. Buyers and sellers agree directly. Shopitnow provides visibility, structure and verification, but never holds customer funds.
How to buy on Shopitnow.
- 01Find what you're looking for. Filter by category, condition, location and price. Listings with a high quality score are shown first.
- 02Get in touch or bid. Agree on price, handover, shipping and payment method directly with the seller. For auctions you bid via the platform.
- 03Pay directly. Pay by TWINT, bank transfer or cash on handover. Payment happens directly between you and the seller — Shopitnow is not involved in the payment flow.
- 04Confirm receipt and review. Mutual reviews build trust in the system.
How to sell on Shopitnow.
- 01Create a listing in minutes. Guided process with a condition standard, category fields and a quality check.
- 02Receive enquiries. Interested buyers contact you directly via the platform.
- 03Sell directly. You handle price, shipping and payment method directly with the buyer. No complex payment architecture and no waiting for payouts.
- 04Report the sale. Mark the order as “sold”. If no one confirms or cancels within 14 days, the sale is considered complete automatically — Shopitnow invoices the success fee separately.
- 05Offer on your own website. With the Shop Widget (from Basic) you show your listings directly on your company site. Browsing is embedded; for transactional listings, purchase and bidding run via shopitnow.ch, while for “Listing only” ads interested buyers contact you via chat and you arrange the deal directly.
- 06Fair launch rates. During the founding-seller programme, reduced rates apply from 1.5 % success fee and CHF 19/mo for Pro.
Listing only: Besides buy-now and auction you can publish an offer as a pure listing. There is no one-click purchase and no bidding – interested buyers contact you via chat and you agree on price and handover directly. The displayed price is a non-binding guide price. Pure listings carry no success fee.
Embed your shop on your own site.
From the Basic plan you show your listings directly on your website (customization from Pro). First enable the widget in the dashboard under Shop Widget — there you generate the ready-made code with your handle. Then, depending on your platform:
Any website (HTML snippet)
- In the dashboard, enable “Shop Widget” and copy the “Any website (HTML)” code.
- Paste it into the HTML or code area at the desired spot on your page.
- Save or publish — the shop appears and adjusts its height automatically.
Works on static HTML, Squarespace, Jimdo, Webflow and similar.
WordPress
Easiest way: add a “Custom HTML” block and paste the universal snippet from the dashboard.
With the plugin (more convenient): install the shopitnow plugin (Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin), activate it, then use the “shopitnow Store” block or this shortcode:

- In the theme editor, add a “Custom Liquid” section or block.
- Paste the Shopify code from the dashboard and save.
A native app block is in the works; until then “Custom Liquid” is the direct route.

Guest purchase requests (optional): the default is purchase with an account. Optionally, in the dashboard, you can allow visitors to send you a non-binding purchase request with a confirmed email even without a shopitnow account (buy-now listings only). This reserves no listing and triggers no fee — you decide how to respond. Any binding purchase then runs via shopitnow.ch. “Listing only” ads have no guest purchase request; interested buyers contact you via chat and you arrange the deal directly.
Direct communication instead of buyer protection.
Shopitnow currently operates no escrow model and no integrated buyer protection. Payment happens directly between buyer and seller. This keeps the model lean, transparent and fast. At the same time, Shopitnow relies on verification, clear listings, reviews and a reporting process for problematic cases.

We are separately evaluating integrated payment processing through an external, regulated payment service provider and will communicate its introduction transparently. Integrated buyer protection is currently not part of the feature set.

Buyers pay no fees to Shopitnow. Sellers receive invoices separately by QR-bill, TWINT or bank transfer. The rates shown are discounted founding-seller conditions; regular rates apply after the launch phase. The success fee applies to sales via buy-now, auction and price offers; the 'Listing only' format carries no success fee.
